Foods eaten on Tu B'Shvat, also known as Jewish Arbor Day, include fruits, nuts, grains, and vegetables. The holiday celebrates the importance of trees in people's lives. 

Fruits

  • Figs, dates, and carobs: Traditional Israeli fruits 

  • Almonds: A prominent food because almond trees are the first to bloom in Israel during this time 

  • Pomegranates: One of the seven species mentioned in the Torah
