Another breaking news alert. Another crisis to process. Another day that slips by in a blur. In times like these, it’s easy to feel unmoored—disconnected from ourselves, our purpose, and each other. But what if, instead of just counting the days, we made each day count?
Luckily, we have the Omer — that oft-overlooked period of spiritual self-reflection as we count 49 days between Passover and Shavuot. This year, let’s take a breath and do a little learning. After all, we're not the first Jewish people to live through wild times.
A small group of us will meet over the next few weeks to explore ideas, texts, and wisdom from Jewish tradition for this spring. We’ll meet on three Thursday evenings at 7pm on Zoom: April 27, 5/8 and 5/22.
