KATY Kol Ami Temple Youth (KATY) is an outlet for Reform Jewish teenagers to become engaged in a variety of social, leadership, educational, and social action programs. KATY events are a balance of learning, fun, worship, community service, and fellowship, to help our Temple youth build and strengthen lifetime ties with each other and Reform Judaism. KATY members regularly join Reform Jewish Teens from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska and the province of British Columbia for NFTY (North American Federation of Temple Youth) Northwest Region and North American events.

Junior Chai provides social experiences which expand Jewish connections and community outside of the Religion School and B’nai Mitzvah experiences. Junior Chai events are a great way to have fun and meet new people. Many of our events are done with other temples around the greater Seattle area. This allows us to create fun and exciting events — which allows participants to connect with a wide group of school friends, Camp Kalsman friends, and friends yet-to-be!
