Rabbi Yohanna Kinberg

Rabbi Yohanna Kinberg
Originally from Eugene, where her father was a Reform congregational rabbi, Rabbi Kinberg has lived in the Pacific Northwest most of her life. She served as Associate Rabbi at Temple B'nai Torah in Bellevue for 11 years where she led the transformation of TBT's religious school and youth programming. She is familiar with all aspects of congregational work and is actively involved with several Jewish organizations, including Jewish Family Service, Hadassah, J Street, Women's Torah Project, and the Jewish Federation. Rabbi Kinberg also has strong commitments to Tikkun Olam, social justice, reproductive rights, the environment, and to Israel. She is married to Rabbi Seth Goldstein of Temple Beth Hatfiloh in Olympia. They have two sons.

“I’m so delighted to serve as Kol Ami’s rabbi,” says Kinberg. “It feels like a natural fit growing up in a small Northwest community. It’s like a homecoming for me. I look forward to leading this vibrant and intimate Jewish community.”
